Celebrate the music of Pink Floyd in Ottawa on Canadian train trips
Music lovers on Canadian train vacations can see a special performance of Eclipse: The Pink Floyd Story on March 1 or 2 at the Casino du Lac-Leamy in Ottawa. The show celebrates the 40th anniversary of the influential British rock band's first show in Quebec.
Featuring a light show and Eclipse, a live band who has played Pink Floyd's music for over 20 years, the show is a chronological "best-of," highlighting the band's evolution since their first album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, came out in 1967. With 14 studio and three live albums, the concert covers almost 30 years of music.
In addition to music and a light show, the performance will include video of historic moments in Pink Floyd's career. Visitors on Canadian rail tours can see the Quebec-based Eclipse perform at l’Etoile Cartier Dix30 in Brossard if they miss the Ottawa performances.
Tickets for the event are $51.27 CAD, including tax. The show is 18 and over, and will start at 8 p.m. on both evenings. Travelers can purchase tickets online or at the casino box office.
