Individuals in the D.C. region who wish to explore Canada along Canadian rail tours now have a greater opportunity to do so, thanks to Porter Airlines. The Canadian carrier will begin service between Washington Dulles and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport this April.

Up to three daily roundtrip flights will be available to travelers, with great expectations of increases in "both business and leisure trips," stated Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines.

Guests can arrive in the city of Toronto straight off their flight and witness the attractions of the surrounding regions along the Trans Canadian railway. The Toronto Greeter Program offers new visitors to the city an inside look of the various markets, districts and neighborhoods that may have otherwise been overlooked without an expert's perspective. Kensington Market, The Annex and Chinatown are all areas of Toronto that city greeters claim as their favorite locales to show anticipating tourists.

The Annex is one of the most vibrant districts in the city, with rock music venues, St. Paul's Church, famous bakeries and old bookstores that create a dynamic mix of residents and activities in the area, and allow eclectic travelers to engage in whatever activity suits their interests.
