When travelers think about Pop Art, names like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein may spring to mind. Individuals who want to learn about another pop painter should make their way to Quebec by October 7. After all, this is when The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ Tom Wesselmann exhibit comes to a close.

Born in 1931, American artist Wesselmann went on to become one of the pop greats thanks to attention-grabbing works, such as those in the "Great American Nude" series. To see more examples of his vibrant pieces, travelers can swing by the museum as soon as their rail trips in Canada make a stop in Montreal.

As Wesselmann was the only one of his Pop Art contemporaries not to have a North American retrospective of his work, the museum decided to take action, according to its website.

When travelers visit the exhibit, they can follow the development of Wesselmann’s talents, from his early collage work to the end of his life, when he was focused on creating abstract pieces. Some of the works visitors have a chance to see come from the artist’s "Bathtub Collages" and "Great American Nudes" series.
