Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Your luxury Canada Train Trip Begins - Arrive in Calgary Arrive at the Calgary International Airport, from where you are chauffeured to the prestigious Fairmont Palliser Hotel. Meet the other like-minded travelers taking this railway journey at a private wine and cheese reception in the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion. Enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room this evening. Overnight in Calgary.

Day 2 - Fishing at Lower Bow River After breakfast, you will meet with your fishing guide and travel to the Lower Bow River, southeast of Calgary, which is home to huge brown and rainbow trout.

Spend a full day of fishing before boarding the Royal Canadian Pacific train for a glorious meal prepared by talented chefs. Overnight in Cowley on the Royal Canadian Pacific train.

Day 3 - Into the Canadian Rockies by Train - Fishing in the Old Man River Continue your luxury Canadian train trip with fishing on the Old Man River at the foot of the Porcupine Hills. Later this afternoon, the train journeys to Crowsnest Pass where you will stop for the night beside beautiful Summit Lake on the train.

Day 4 - Canadian Rockies - Fishing in the rivers of Crowsnest Fish the rivers of Crowsnest while your guides introduce you to the wild rainbow, cutthroat and bull trout that thrive in the magnificent Canadian Rockies. Relax with a delicious dinner onboard the Royal Canadian Pacific train before once again spending the night at Crowsnest Pass on your luxury train.

Day 5 - River boat tour in the Canadian Rockies Begin the morning with a short trip to Elk River. Step off the train at Fernie to board drift boats for a guided float on the calm river waters. Return to the Royal Canadian Pacific train this afternoon and enjoy the personalized service you have become accustomed to as the luxury train heads north through the Columbia River Valley. Guests overnight at Golden on the train.

Day 6 - Canadian Rockies- Yoho National Park - Departure The scenery is spellbinding as the Royal Canadian Pacific train travels east into the Canadian Rockies and Yoho National Park, through the famous Spiral Tunnels and beautiful Banff National Park. Enjoy a leisurely brunch before arriving at the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion in the early afternoon.

Much too soon your luxury Canadian railroad vacation is over - and you leave the fresh air of the Canadian Rockies behind as your Canada train trip comes to an end.
