Day 2 British Charm – Tour Victoria
Step onto a deluxe motorcoach this morning to your Victoria and journey to the gorgeous Butchart Gardens, the medley of fragrances and colors is a treat for the senses. As you continue your tour through historic homes and landmarks, you will surely discover the infectious charm of the city.
Day 3 Victoria Whalewatching – Victoria to Vancouver by Ferry
The cool coastal breeze wakes you this morning as you bob with the rhythm of the sea. With mink whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and more in the water below, you are almost sure to see wildlife. Your hot tea keeps your hands warm as you get some fresh air on the deck.
Spend your evening in Vancouver sipping coffee at a cafe, dining at a premier restaurant and most importantly anticipating your train trip to Whistler tomorrow.
Day 4 Canada Train trip from Sea to Sky – Whistler Mountaineer
You feel right at home onboard Rocky Mountaineer’s newest train - the Whistler Mountaineer. Start the day off with the aroma of coffee and the taste of a hearty breakfast. Picture mountain peaks, covered in deep green trees, rising up from the water just outside your window. These are the coastal mountains that British Columbia is famous for. Wander out to the open air observation car for your first taste of the stunning sights that await you.
Day 5 Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer – Whistler to Quesnel
The wail of the whistle breaks the morning silence and the smell of hot tea and sizzling ham wafts through your car as the famous Rocky Mountaineer rolls out of Whistler. Chat with old friends and new all the while staring out the window at some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. As you relax in your comfortable bed in Kamloops, you can’t help but wonder what new adventures you will find tomorrow.
Day 6 Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer – Quesnel to Jasper
This is the day you reach the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. The scenery today is breathtaking. Step off the train in Jasper tonight and embrace the serenity of the mountains. You are on top of the Earth, far from any stress and ready to embrace the calmness of the mountains.
Day 7 The Icefields Parkway – Jasper to Lake Louise
Welcome the morning by boarding a luxury motorcoach and relaxing in comfort as you head south down the Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives in the world. Choose to visit the Athabasca Glacier and you will be awestruck by the wonders that nature builds.
This feeling only intensifies as you arrive in Lake Louise. This is one of the most photographed locales in Canada and you’ll soon see why.
Day 8 Mountains, Lakes and Waterfalls – Tour Banff and Yoho National Parks
Mist hangs above Lake Louise this morning; only in the Canadian Rockies could you wake to such a stunning sight. This afternoon a guided excursion makes the most of your time in the mountains as you explore two of Canada’s most famous National Parks. Continue discovering the beauty of the Canadian Rockies as you arrive in Banff.
Day 9 In the Canadian Rockies – Explore Banff
Today is the day to explore the wonders of Banff. From the pristine wilderness to the charming streets; from the wildlife to the sweet scents of maple fudge and ice cream; from the calm of the towering mountains to the laughter on the streets. You now understand the allure that keeps people returning to Banff.
Day 10 With Fond Memories Made – Depart Banff
Much too soon, you leave the crisp air and colorful sights of the Canadian Rocky Mountains behind as your train adventure comes to an end.
